HEC Group Announces New Publication on Gun Violence Prevention

The Health Equity Consulting (HEC) Group is proud to share a newly released publication, “How the APHA Maternal and Child Health Section Advanced the Public Health Approach to Gun Violence Prevention,” published in the Maternal and Child Health Journal. This important manuscript details the history and work of the American Public Health Association (APHA) Maternal and Child Health Section’s Gun Violence Prevention (GVP) Workgroup. The publication highlights efforts to elevate gun violence prevention as a public health priority within the MCH Section, APHA, and on a national level.
